A day in the life of sorority girls

This is life as it is viewed from a Pi Beta Phi and an Alpha Omicron Pi's perspective. These are our thoughts about life, pranking, school, summer, and God. 2 Corinthians 11:19

3 weeks in!

Well, as you can clearly read in the title, i (sarah) have been in yellowstone for three weeks now. It has been such an amazing time. Here are a few pictures that will not even begin to do this program justice!

This is me and my friend Genie who is the work director.

We have a polar bear swim the first night that the students are all here. This lake is freezing cold!

After a long hard day of work...well...or...i guess when we take a lunch break in the middle of the day...we sometimes hang a hammock right outside of the office.

Fun in Bozeman

So, last weekend I was able to go to Yellowstone with some friends (and yes I got to see Sarah!) and spend the whole day looking at wild life and beautiful scenery. It was sooo much fun! And the next day I got to go to the Lewis and Clark Caverns! I thought I had never been there before but apparently I was there when I was 7 or 8 (or so my mom tells me). Now I'm back to working and.... helping Lexi plan her wedding! Her and Clint are getting married October 6th and I get to be the maid of honor! I'm sooo excited and even though they are both busy, it is still so much fun, and there is something to do almost everyday! (Wow, there are a lot of exclamation points in this post!) Well, here are some pictures from my fun weekend....enjoy!

so fun

Hokay..so...I went to church today at mammoth hot springs. We have a bit of a fire breathing pastor with a west virginian accent. The cool thing about this is that it is going to help me get into a ministry in the national parks. It is cleverly named..."christian ministry in national parks". Basically all i'll be able to get involved in is going with the group to hang out in different locations during the week to talk and play games and stuff with workers from other areas of the park. I am really excited. I think this is going to be a great step for me.

In other news...Autumn is coming to visit me today hopefully. If anyone else wants to visit yellowstone, but doesn't want to pay the insane 25 dollars per car, just let me know!
Wahoo!

A recent victim....

So, Sarah and I were able to get together for an hour or so on Saturday night. You'd think that we'd only have time to catch up from the past few weeks....but NO. We talked quickly and then set out for some pranking. To see our latest victims check this out!

in yellowstone once again

Hey Everyone...well...all 3 people who read this i guess!

I (sarah) have officially begun my work in yellowstone national park with the amazing youth conservation corps. Yes...i get to wear a ranger uniform! Maybe i'll put a picture of me in it on here someday. Although i am very excited to be here and finally have a stationary place to live, i will admit that i am already missing livingston and bozeman a great deal. I had an amazing last 2 days in town. I hope all 3 of you have an amazing summer, and if you want a yellowstone post card, send me your address!

Lots of love

Invisible Children

I (sarah) have just seen an amazing movie. It was called invisible children, and it is about children in northern Uganda who are forced to travel miles away from their homes every night so they can sleep in safety. They are living in fear of being kidnapped by the rebel army and forced to fight for them. This was a heartbreaking story, and anyone who wants to watch this movie can contact me, and i'll get you a copy. You can also visit their website
  • HERE

  • The website has a ton of frequently asked questions, and you can even buy the hour long dvd there. If you have any questions, you can ask me as well, but my knowldege is somewhat limited.
